Project Planning & Management Lead the Data Center project from initiation, planning, execution, testing & commissioning, through final handover. Develop and maintain the Project Execution Plan, master schedule, milestones, resource plan, and work priorities. Define and control project scope, deliverables, responsibilities, and interfaces between disciplines. Monitor project progress against the approved baseline schedule. Identify delays and implement recovery or acceleration plans when required. 2. Data Center Technical Coordination Coordinate all Data Center infrastructure disciplines, including: Electrical Power Distribution MV/LV System and Transformer Generator System UPS and Battery System PDU and Rack Power Distribution Precision Air Conditioning (PAC) Cooling and Mechanical Systems Containment and Rack System Fire Detection & Fire Suppression VESDA CCTV and Access Control DCIM/BMS/Monitoring System Structured Cabling and Fiber Optic Grounding and Lightning Protection Civil and Architectural Works Review technical drawings, specifications, shop drawings, method statements, and material submissions. Ensure proper coordination between Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, ELV, Security, and IT infrastructure works. Identify and resolve design conflicts and site coordination issues. 3. Schedule & Progress Control Establish and maintain detailed project schedules. Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly progress. Compare actual progress against planned progress. Identify critical-path activities and potential schedule risks. Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractor activities. Prepare corrective actions and recovery plans for delayed activities. 4. Quality Management Ensure all works comply with approved drawings, technical specifications, applicable standards, and project requirements. Coordinate implementation of Inspection & Test Plans (ITP). Monitor inspection requests, material inspections, testing records, and quality documentation. Ensure NCRs, defects, and punch-list items are properly resolved. Coordinate with QA/QC, consultant, client, vendor, and subcontractors. 5. Health, Safety & Environment Ensure all project activities comply with HSE requirements. Coordinate with the HSE team regarding Permit to Work, Toolbox Meetings, risk assessments, and safety inspections. Ensure appropriate control of high-risk activities such as electrical energization, lifting, hot work, working at height, and other critical works. Promote a strong safety culture throughout project execution. 6. Cost & Resource Management Monitor project budget, manpower, material, equipment, and subcontractor resources. Control additional works and scope changes. Review potential variation orders and their impact on cost and schedule. Ensure efficient utilization of project resources. Coordinate procurement priorities based on project requirements and equipment lead times. 7. Risk & Change Management Identify technical, operational, commercial, safety, and schedule risks. Maintain and monitor the project risk register. Develop mitigation and contingency plans. Evaluate the impact of design changes and additional works. Ensure changes are properly documented and approved before implementation. 8. Client & Stakeholder Coordination Act as the primary project coordination point with the Client, Consultant, Vendors, Subcontractors, and internal management. Lead project coordination and progress meetings. Communicate project status, critical issues, risks, and required decisions. Follow up action items and commitments from project meetings. Maintain professional communication among all project stakeholders. 9. Testing & Commissioning Develop and coordinate the Testing & Commissioning plan. Ensure equipment installation is completed and inspected before energization/start-up. Coordinate Pre-Commissioning, Start-Up, Functional Testing, SAT, and Integrated System Testing. Coordinate testing of critical Data Center infrastructure including UPS, generator, PAC, electrical distribution, fire protection, security, DCIM/BMS, and supporting systems. Ensure testing results and commissioning records are properly documented. Coordinate troubleshooting and rectification of commissioning issues. 10. Documentation & Handover Ensure completion and control of project documentation, including: Approved Shop Drawings Method Statements ITP and Inspection Records Test & Commissioning Reports As-Built Drawings Operation & Maintenance Manuals Equipment Datasheets Warranty Certificates Training Records Punch List Records Handover Documents Coordinate client/operator training. Ensure all outstanding works and punch-list items are closed before final handover.
